The Whitwell Players are presenting Little Shop of Horrors at Whitwell Community Centre next month.
The comedy horror tale of a hapless flower shop worker Seymour who grows a blood-loving plant is hugely popular for its amusing storyline, zany characters and great score with songs like Skid Row, Suddenly Seymour and Somewhere That’s Green.
“It is an ambitious show for us to be doing as we are not an operatic society,” said spokesman Nic Pelham.
“But with the help of our musical director Peter Lack, I think you will be blown away.”
Peter Lack plays Seymour with Laren Greenhalgh as Audrey, Paul Wood as Mr Mushnik, Luke Fletcher as sadistic dentist Orin and Luke Neeve as the voice of the plant, Audrey 2.
The show is on from 4th to 7th March at 7.15pm, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm.
Tickets priced £7 each and available for Whitwell Community Centre, or by calling 01909 723490.
