Students put on a blooming good show for parents, friends and children who will be moving up to their school.
Budding actors and singers flowered on stage in Sutton Community Academy’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.
More than 50 students were involved in the production as members of the cast, crew and band.
They performed four shows to packed audiences as well as to Year 5 and 6 students from feeder primary schools.
Rebecca Hollett, office manager, said: “ It was a very successful production for which the students and staff involved worked very hard.”
Little Shop of Horrors is a spoof on a 50s B-movie and centres on a hopeless florist named Seymour who one day discovers a new breed of plant; The Audrey 2. The plant changes his life completely, bringing him fame, luck and the girl of his dreams but there is a price – the plant only drinks blood and its appetite is growing!
