Lonely The Brave are live at The Plug in Sheffield this week as part of their latest UK tour.
And the band have announced further live dates for the coming weeks which will include a stop at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on October 10.
Lonely The Brave are David Jakes (vocals), Mart Trotter (guitar), Ross Smithwick (guitar), Andrew Rushden (bass) and Gavin ‘Mo’ Edgeley (drums).
Their debut release, The Day’s War, was an album both critically acclaimed and admired by fans.
It also received a raft of glowing reviews from the national music press, including Kerrang!, The Independent, The Telegraph, Mojo and The Guardian.
The album’s success also earned them prestigious support slots with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and band favourite Deftones.
Following the recent release of their critically acclaimed second album,, Things Will Matter, the band this month played supportr slots with Biffy Clyro.
Their tour now comes in conjunction with the release of their new EP, Dust & Bones.
Led by a title track, which fans have voted as an album highlight, the EP also contains two more new tracks, Place Isn’t Lost, and Bottled Time, and a cover of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb.
