Ordsall Bridon finished their 2015 Notts Premier Cricket League season on a high, with a 72-run home win over Radcliffe-on-Trent.
Batting first their total of 257-6 was built around an innings of 92 from Sufian Munir, backed up by 64 from Liam Andrews, 37 from Paul van den Heuvel and an unbeaten 30 from James Brice.
Asad Ali (4-39) and Aqab Ahmed (3-60) reduced Radcliffe to 75-7, before Jake Fish (37) added 54 with Jacob Deavin-Baker who would make 59 before being last out with the score 185.
The result left Ordsall Bridon 10th in the 12-team league, on 204 points and safe for another year of Notts Premier action.
Retford were also rounding off their season on Saturday, in the Bassetlaw Championship.
But even with their ground and fine facilities, the weather had the final say in their match against Glapwell.
A weather affected draw was declared after the only play – a short spurt of 46 without loss for the home team.
The umpires viewed the conditions to be unfit for further play.
Retford finished 2015 eighth in the Championship table, just a point behind local rivals Worksop and three behind North Wheatley with Leverton.
