Ashfield RUFC welcome East Retford RUFC to Penny Emma Way on Saturday with a near full-strength squad available.
With no game last week due to snow, there are no fresh injury worries for Ashfield, for what is bound to be a tough game against the North Nottinghamshire side sitting fourth in the league.
With Nick Brearley, Dan Wilson and Matt Upton working their way back from long term injuries, the squad is bolstered by the returning Jono Richardson, who has completed three development squad games and looks to be in good form going into this game.
East Retford with bring their renowned physical game and try to avenge their 30-24 point home defeat by Ashfield at the end of October.
It was a game that East Retford were in control of until the extra stamina and pace of the Ashfield team dominated the final 15 minutes running in three tries.
Mark Denman, Director of Rugby, said: “With increased numbers at training, some of our development squad players are starting to raise their intensity and will be pushing for first team place. This will be a nice headache to have over the coming weeks.
“With the players available we have the strength in depth required to take the points, however we never underestimate the opposition and take anything for granted.”
