One of the sides picked up a 2-0 victory over Gainsborough Boys with goals from Philip Slowey and Lee Sainthouse.

The other, missing eight players through exams, illness and holidays went down 7-1 to a very strong Rushcliffe Boys.

This Saturday, (20th October)Bassetlaw welcomes the first ever visit of Scarborough Boys with a 10.30am kick-off at Holy Family School, Worksop.

Meanwhile, Ryton Park completed the Parry Cup second round line-up with a penalty shoot-out defeat of neighbours Manton.

Hero of the day was goalkeeper Antony Crump, who kept a clean sheet through normal and extra time, saved three penalties and then scored the winner himself to earn a trip to Ordsall.
