Lee Westwood finished tied for 24th place in the BMW Masters at Lake Malaren Golf Club in Shanghai last weekend.
The Worksop man began with a first round 72 to end the day in a tie for 14th place.
He went one shot better the next day alongside Henrik Stenson and Tommy Fleetwood and moved up two places on the leaderboard.
A three-under-par round on Saturday helped Westwood to move five shots off the lead.
But he was one over on the final day, and slipped back to joint 24th, two under par for the tournament, earning €54,076 in prize money.
Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano won the event on 11-under par.
This weekend he’s at the WGC - HSBC Champions event at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai.
