Redlands Girls defeated Carr Hill Girls with a single goal from Sharna Gregory that earned them the Division Four title and a place in the Champion of Champions cup.

They will be joined by either East Markham or Haggonfields who are neck and neck in Division One.

East Markham beat Leverton 1-0 and Haggonfields triumphed over Blyth with goals from Saskia Macefield, Cyra Green and Natasha Gore.

The two meet each other in a title decider this week.

Prospect Hill closed the gap on Ryton Park with a 4-1 win over St. John’s, when Kian Smith produced a hat-trick and Sonny Irons added a fourth.

St Anne’s and Priory shared four goals in their Division Three clash.

Bassetlaw Boys’ assault on the Midland Counties Championship ended in disappointment when a series of 1-0 defeats and the goalposts deprived them of early victories.

In turn they were rescued by excellent saves by goalkeeper Owen Law.

Local hopes for national honours now rest with Leverton who will represent Nottinghamshire in the Small Schools Midland Counties Championship in Nottingham on Saturday.
