A hat-trick of newspapers are claiming today that Manchester United are preparing a summer bid for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
The Red Devils are ready to offer more than £75million for the Welshman, with the 26-year-old said to be unhappy at the sacking of Rafael Benetiz on Monday – so says the Daily Mirror, The Times and Daily Mail.
The Daily Star’s main line is that Arsenal are thinking about an approach for Watford goalscorer Troy Deeney.
Meanwhile the Daily Mirror report that West Ham will sell front man Andy Carroll, if Sunderland or Newcastle can stump up £18million.
And in the Guardian, Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse is set for a move to the Premier League this month, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham among the clubs interested in the £15m-rated Senegal international.
