Worksop: Thieves swipe phone from van and and briefcase from car

Brazen thieves targeted three Worksop cars in the space of two days.

In the first incident, on Thursday 27th March 2014, a Renault Master van parked behind ASDA at Celtic Point, Worksop, was broken into.

It happened between 1.50pm and 2.10pm.

A black Samsung Galaxy S2 in a green case was stolen.

In a separate incident a vehicle parked on Lady Walk in Worksop was entered.

Thieves swiped a Tom Tom sat nav and a Samsung mobile phone. The sat nav serial number is GV3313G01370.

It happened between 5.30am on Saturday 29th March 2014 and midnight on Sunday 30th March.

On the same day a Seat Leon parked off West Street in Worksop had its offside rear window smashed.

A briefcase was stolen from inside but it was later found on Westgate and handed in at Worksop Police Station.

The theft happened between 6pm on Saturday 29th March and 3pm on Sunday 30th March.
