Worksop: Appeal for information on burglaries


Police are appealing for information about a spate of burglaries in the Worksop area. Call 101 if you can help.

Golf clubs were stolen from a garage on Kirkpatrick Drive, Worksop, between 2.45pm on Friday 4th and 2.45pm on Friday 18th April.

Thieves got in and swiped a distinctive set of left handed golf clubs in a black Jack Nicholas bag.

Another garage on Elm Tree Close in Shireoaks was broken into between 9.30am on Monday 14th and 3pm on Tuesday 15th April. Several items were stolen from inside.

Thieves targeted a property on Pelham Street, Worksop, on Sunday 20th April between 1.45pm and 3.45pm and property taken.

At about 4am on Monday 21st April the King William IV pub at Oldcotes was broken into.

The offender smashed the front of a gaming machine and stole cash from inside it. The alarm sounded and the thief made off.

And a young male tried to get into a house on South Parade, on Tuesday 22nd April.

The occupant was woken by the alarm at about 5.50am. They looked outside and saw a male trying to force the front door.

He was described as being young-ish, fairly thin and was wearing a dark blue top.
