Yorkshire Wildlife Park celebrated International Tiger Day by highlighting the park foundation’s work to help save the Amur tiger.
Six Amur tigers live at the park while less than 450 remain in the wild and the foundation has been raising funds to help change this.
Cheryl Williams, a park trustee, said: “Visitors love the Amur tigers and we are confident that if we keep up the global effort they can be brought back from the brink of extinction. So far this year we have raised more than £5,000.”
