Gainsborough’s West Lindsey Leisure Centre is in line to be named Leisure Centre of the Year at the ukactive and Matrix Flame Awards.
The awards recognise leisure centres, health clubs, group operators and individuals that have demonstrated exceptional standards across all areas of the operation.
The Everyone Active operated leisure centre in The Avenue, Gainsborough, has been shortlisted in the Leisure Centre of the Year (Multi-use) category.
To reach the shortlist, entrants have to undergo a rigorous assessment process, proving their excellence by dealing effectively with mystery shoppers and scoring highly in site evaluations and customer insight surveys.
Contract manager at West Lindsey Leisure Centre, Kerry O’ Neill, said: “We’re delighted to have reached the shortlist for Leisure Centre of the Year.
“With hundreds of nominees vying for a place on the list, being confirmed as a finalist is a significant achievement in itself.
“All of our staff strive to give customers the best service and experience possible, and it’s great for that to be recognised by the wider sector.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating with all the finalists in June.”
