ALL rail and bus users from in and around the Gainsborough area are invited to two meetings to express their views and ask questions about public transport.

The Gainsborough and District Rail and Bus Users Group (or GRaB) represents commuters to rail and bus operators and local authorities.

Although non-party political, they act as a pressure grouop lobbying Government to improve public transport in the Gainsborough area.

On Saturday 13th October from 1pm, GRaB will be holding a special meeting will be held at Trinity Arts Centre where you can have your say and ask important questions.

Then on Sunday 14th October from 3pm, customer services manager for East Midlands Trains will be at Lea Road train station, Gainsborough, to sign up volunteers to help make the station a more attractive gateway to our town.

A GRaB spokesman said: “Volunteers can give as much time as they wish with with cleaning, gardening, promoting the station and rail travel or just reporting defects to East Midlands Trains.”
