Three teenagers have been arrested and released on police bail after reports they were riding on a moped in Creswell believed to be stolen from Nottinghamshire.

At about 5pm on Wednesday, October 16 officers were called to The Hag, a wooded area near Frithwood Lane.

A 16-year-old and a 20-year-old were arrested at the scene, with a 15-year-old arrested the following day on suspicion of theft of motorbikes.

The arrests follow work carried out by officers in Bolsover and Nottinghamshire in recent weeks in a bid to tackle vehicle crime, known as Operation Barstow.

The moped, which was recovered from the incident, is believed to have been stolen from a property in Nottinghamshire.#
