Tax is pasty joke

JOHN Mann left Chancellor George Osborne flummoxed in the House of Commons this week, when he asked him if he’d ever eaten a Greggs pasty.

How apt that out of all the hundreds of Members of Parliament out there it was Worksop’s MP who should ask this particular question.

Afterall, as we all know, Worksop is the greasy and flaky food capital of the UK.

Mr Mann’s question was in response to the Government slapping 20 per cent VAT on such baked delights.

This new tax will mean the people of Worksop will swell the public purse no end, so what are we going to get in return, eh?
