Young people in Notts looking for creative events this summer have a packed schedule to choose from.
The annual Sunbrella Festival of summer schools is run by Notts County Council’s County Youth Arts team.
Andy Dawson, team manager, said: “Sunbrella traditionally offers an exciting programme of events to help young people explore, develop and promote their creative talent, and this year is no exception.”
‘Vox Factor’ is a week of music making from 5th-9th August, focusing on song writing and performing for singers and songwriters.
A drama and comedy summer, in conjunction with professional theatre company The Gramophones, will also run from 27th-31st August.
All sessions will runfrom 10am to 4pm at the Old Library in Leeming Street, Mansfield, which houses a fully professional recording studio and theatre.
The summer schools are free but have limited space, so booking is essential.
