THE parents of Dinnington girl Sade Russell thanked the Salvation Army for helping their daughter, with a generous donation.
The bubbly 21-year-old, whose funeral was held last week, died suddenly after returning from a night out.
Sade’s family and friends staged a fun day and sponsored walk in her memory, which raised £400.
As a youngster Sade attended the youth group at the charity’s base on Leicester Road.
“Everyone knew Sade - she was the life and soul of the party,” said volunteer Richard Waring.
Mum Michelle said: “We wanted to give something back to the Salvation Army for all the support we have had.”
