A dull and misty start in places but skies will brighten with some pleasant sunshine coming through. A few showers are likely later in the day.


Chancery Lane in Retford, northbound at the West Street junction is closed, because of roadworks.

Albert Road in Retford is closed from its junction with B6044 Victoria Road to its junction with Cobwell Road from 8am-4pm.

This is to allow for emergency drainage works to be carried out.


Family fun swimming at the pool at Misterton Primary School from 11am to 2pm.

The session may be restricted to an hour depending on demand. Only £2 per person and under fives are free.

Build a bench children’s activity at the Idle Valley Nature Reserve from 1.30pm-3.30pm.

Down in the woods children will collect together the materials to build a bench and put it together.

The activity is for children aged eight and above and it cost £6 per child. Booking is required.

Oldcotes car boot sale on the A634 Oldcotes to Blyth Road from 10am to 3pm.

It is now open on Wednesdays during the summer as well as every Sunday and bank holiday Mondays.

Entrance is £1 and parking is 50p.
