A cloudy, damp start with some rain in places. More generally dry by the afternoon, with a few bright or sunny spells developing.


Chancery Lane in Retford, northbound at the West Street junction is closed, because of roadworks.

Temporary 10mph speed restriction from Ordsall Road, Retford from its junction with Northumbria Drive and West Hill Road, Retford from its junction with Northumbria Drive. The restriction is in place from 8am today until 6pm on Sunday 21st August and is to allow for carriageway resurfacing works.


Charity fun day at Captain Jack’s Adventure Land from 11am-1pm.

There will be childrens competitions, activities, prizes, cake stalls and a tombola. Fancy dress is encouraged.

Tickets are £2.50 and proceeds go British Heart Foundation.
