Welcome to your daily round up of all today’s important stuff...

A dry but rather cloudy morning with a little brightness at times. A band of rain will spread down from the northwest this afternoon and it will become very windy. The rain may clear to give some late brightness. A dry night is expected across the region, with clear periods at times. The wind will ease but it will remain breezy. Feeling rather chilly.
