Dry, and generally very warm and sunny, although the sunshine will be hazy at times. Tonight everywhere will be dry, and most places will be cloud free.

Saturday will be dry, sunny and mainly very warm as any early mist and low cloud burns away.

Sunday will be cloudier, with a chance of scattered afternoon showers.


Chancery Lane in Retford still closed northbound at the West Street junction, because of roadworks.

Outgang Lane in Treswell still closed in both directions at the Cow Pasture Lane junction, because of roadworks.

Grove Lane level crossing in Retford will be closed between 10pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

This is to allow for emergency level crossing works.

An alternative route is Bracken Lane – A638 London Road – A638 Arlington Way and Vice Versa


Friday 8th April

Comedy night at The Elms Hotel, in Retford at 8.15pm.

Held once a month a full fun evening of comedy with supporting and headlining comedians and resident compere.

Saturday 9th April

Misson Community Association are holding a spring clear out jumble sale at Misson Community Centre, Vicar Lane, Misson. The sale starts at 11am until 1pm and all the money raised will go towards renovations to the community centre.

Easter coffee morning at Bassetlaw Hospice, Cedar House, North Road, Retford from 10am-1pm.

Sunday 10th April

Oldcotes car boot sale and Sunday market on the A634 Oldcotes to Blyth Road.

Runs from 5.30am-2.30pm

Second-hand goods seller pitch fee £8. New goods seller pitch fee from £12. Buyer entrance fee £1.

Refreshments and toilets on site.
