Retford villages mourn road accident victims

COMMUNITIES in Retford are mourning the loss of three people.

Mother-of-three Andrea Fairchild was killed in a car accident, on Friday evening.

She lived in Bawtry with her husband and children on Thorne Road, and was a conference co-ordinator at Bawtry Hall.

26-year-old Andrew Usher, of Treswell, died at Sheffield Northern General Hospital, following a collision with a car in Rampton two weeks ago.

He was travelling on his motorbike with a 18-year-old woman at the time, and she is still in a critical condition at Lincoln County Hospital.

And on Sunday evening, Tuxford man Daniel Moore, 23, was killed after his car hit a wooden fence in Ragnall, near Newark. He died at the scene.
