Oil painting exhibition

Bassetlaw Museum’s Percy Laws Gallery is hosting an exhibition featuring pieces from including world renowned artist, Richard Combes of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.

Although based in New York, Richard Combes has strong family ties in Bassetlaw and divides his time between America and the UK.

His exquisite attention to detail and perspective bring to life the beauty of everyday objects and places.

Among those featuring in the exhibition, which runs until 6th October, are Worksop artists Norman Evans and Graham Duckmanton.

All works have been loaned by the Dukeries Art Gallery. Bassetlaw Museum, on Grove Street, Retford, is open 10am-4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
