BASSETLAW Museum will be showing the works of Elaine Thompson throughout April.

Elaine turns irregular-shaped wooden panels into unusual artworks by picking out details of the wood and enhancing them by burning in the design.

The drawings are imaginatively and beautifully integrated into the natural patterns already there making every picture unique.

She will visit Bassetlaw Museum on 28th April to demonstrate the process of creating her artwork.

The exhibition runs from 24th March - 12th May.
