The following people from the Worksop and Retford areas have recently appeared before the courts.
Ashby Espin, 27, of Cornwell Road, Shireoaks; stole coffee and cheese to the value of £36 belonging to the Co-op and coffee to the value of £64 belonging to the Co-op. Committed to prison for 70 days and £100 compensation.
Emma Reid, 37, of Plantation Court, Dinnington; stole a beef joint to the value of £14.94 belonging to Asda. Committed to prison 18 weeks and £115 victim surcharge.
Richard Fletcher, 46, of Oakwood Mews, Worksop; driving in excess of 30 miles per hour speed limit. Fined £220, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and disqualified from driving for six months.
Matthew Page, 24, of Wharton Street, Retford; driving under the influence of alcohol, namely 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath and driving without an insurance policy. Fined £194, £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 18 months.
Susan Jubb, 55, of Park Lane, Retford; failed to comply with with an operative improvement notice. Fined £2,666, £266 victim surcharge and £3,519.37.
Jason Emmerson, 22, of Keswick Road, Worksop; used violence for the purpose of securing entry into a premises, damaged a wing mirror and assaulted a man. Community order made, carry out 80 hours of unpaid work, restraining order made, £200 compensation, £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Robert Lowe, 38, of Sheffield Road, Creswell; application to amend requirements of suspended sentence. Order varied and unpaid work requirement removed.
