DURING these times of swingeing austerity measures it’s reassuring to know Notts County Council are getting their priorities right.
Vital services have been cut left right and centre to save cash, but the authority can still manage to find nearly £1m to put towards a new cricket scoreboard for Trent Bridge.
What are they going to do next? Pump a million quid into Nottingham Forest’s coffers so they can splash out on a new striker?
If they had any sense they’d reverse this barmy decision.
