It could be you

THERE’S been a lot of excitement this week about a £64 million Euromillions ticket that hasn’t been claimed, six months after the numbers came up.

I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Is £64 million a lot of money or something these days?

It’s small change to someone like me, the sort of amount I’d find tucked behind and under my sofa cushions if I rummaged long enough.

What annoys when people become lottery millionaires is what they do with the cash.

They’ll win £8 million and move from their two bedroomed terraced house to a three bedroomed semi on the next street. What’s the point?
