Local real ale and cider drinkers are in for a treat as it’s nearly time for the third annual Gainsborough Beer Festival.
This year’s event features 26 beers from East Midlands Breweries, one for each letter of the alphabet and including four brewed specially for the festival.
In addition, the local award-winning Grafters Brewery are supplying six beers and, for the cider drinkers, four ciders and three perrys will be on sale.
Soft drinks are available, and as an added attraction there will be no charge for access to the Old Hall itself during their normal opening hours on Saturday.
Hot and cold food will be available at all sessions, and visitors will be able to sit and drink in the historic medieval kitchen where the log fire will be burning. Local musicians will be playing at certain times for your entertainment but quiet areas will always remain.
This year’s Gainsborough Beer Festival will be at the Old Hall from Thursday 20th - Sunday 23rd October.
Admission is free.
