To mark the centenary the Worksop Guardian will be providing special coverage in paper and online, looking back at the effect the war had on the town.

We are especially interested in learning more about the local men who fought in the war.

If you have any information about any of these men then please get in touch.

Maybe one of your forefathers fought in the war, and you have photos, information you’d like to share with us, or you might just want to tell us their story.

To get in touch you can write to Worksop Guardian, 21-27 Ryton Street, Worksop S80 2AY. Alternatively you can call our newsdesk on 01909 500500, or email us at
