Firefighters will strike again this morning (Wednesday 13th November 2013) for the fourth time in seven weeks.
The Fire Brigades Union has notified its members of the industrial action due to take place from 10am until 2pm today, after a national ballot.
Fire services across Notts, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire will continue to provide an emergency response, but at a reduced level.
And they are calling for communities to take extra care and try to prevent emergencies during the strike action.
The FBU is holding another ballot on whether to take action short of a strike, which would mean only responding to emergency incidents.
The vote closes on 4th December 2013.
