PUPILS at Tuxford School have been busy raising a fantastic amount for charity.
A variety of events were held at the school which raised £1,000 for Bassetlaw Hospital’s Breastcare Unit.
The students held a non uniform day on Wednesday 13th October and they each paid £1 to wear pink outfits in support of the charity.
The school’s charity committee, made up of staff and students, also arranged a bake sale and nail painting which took place at break time.
Tickets were sold for a pink raffle with prizes such as pink champagne and pink plants for adults and various pink chocolates and goodies for the children.
