YOUNGSTERS at Ranby House School have had fun raising money for Red Nose Day.
The Boarders’ Forum at the school invited day children to come and have fun and board for the night in aid of charity.
It was agreed that the boarding fee would go towards raising funds for Comic Relief.
In total 26 children took up the offer to stay over. Unfortunately not everyone who wanted to join in the special evening was able to stay because of a shortage of beds. Three of the dormitories are uninhabitable after been flooded during the icy weather last year.
The children made delicious Red Nose biscuits with the headteacher before enjoying games in the sports hall.
Later the year seven and eight boarders put on a variety show for the younger pupils.
Just over £800 was raised for Comic Relief, said a spokesman for the school.
