A man from Rhodesia who failed to appear at court for an alleged attack is being sought by police.

Edward Cash, 39, whose last known address is Winifred Street, Rhodesia, was due to appear in Nottingham Crown Court after being charged with assault and grievous bodily harm.

It follows an incident on Friday 13th January where Cash is alleged to have purposely driven his car at a man. The victim suffered a fractured leg.

Police would also like to speak to Cash in connection with a burglary which took place on Sunday 16th June in Mary Street, Rhodesia.

Two televisions, cash, and a York Baritone Horn were taken.

It is thought Cash may have left the Notts area and has links to Huddersfield.

Anyone with any information about Cash’s whereabouts or the burglary in Mary Street is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
