A WORKSOP mum caught without insurance has been ordered to pay £300 and had six points endorsed on her licence.

Magdalena Jaskiewicz-Gostomczyk, 26, from St. Marks Close, also admitted to not holding a full driving licence.

She was stopped by police on Gateford Road on 24th October.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how the defendant had applied for a provisional licence.

Kate Beardsmore, prosecuting, said: “Her father was down as the named drive, even though he does not drive the car.”

An interpreter for the defendant said on her behalf: “I would like to say I am very sorry.”
