Fans of music from the 70s and 80s will be in for a treat with some of the greatest artists and bands from that era at Clumber Park’s ‘The Flashback Festival’.
The weekend will kick off Friday 21st of August with the best of the 70’s including The Real Thing, Hot Chocolate, and disco legends Sister Sledge.
The 1980’s line up will take you back to the coolest decade in pop with Sheffield band The Human League set to headline the festival, joined by ‘Tainted Love’ singer Marc Almond, Jason Donovan, 5 Star and Toyah and Flashbacks.
This year the festival organisers have decided to expand the facilities to include a ‘Silent Disco’ which will take place after the event.
Silent discos have taken the festival scene by storm over the past couple of years and can even be found at the UK’s biggest festival – Glastonbury.
A spokesperson said: “Camping is once again available at Flashback but organisers are advising you to book early as each year this facility is a complete sell out!”
“If normal camping isn’t quite your style, Flashback offers a form of posh camping known as ‘Glamping’.”
“Offering luxury facilitiesin pre-erected bell tents in an exclusive campsite for VIP customers only, wirh breakfast the next morning, executive toilets and an electric supply in the pamper parlour for those all-important items such as hair straighteners and phone chargers.”
“Getting to the party is taken care of too- a shuttle service ticket is available and collects from a dedicated pick up point in Worksop town centre, taking out the hassle of booking taxis and minibuses,” they added.
