A super tots session has proven a big hit with children and parents and will be expanding into 2015.
The sessions are held at Clowne Sports Centre and aimed at children under five-years-old using interactive and colourful play equipment.
The council are now asking parents what other activities they would like to see introduced into the scheme.
Coun Ann Syrett, Cabinet Member for social inclusion, said:“This scheme has been extremely popular and proved a resounding success. It’s hugely important that children engage in some sort of physical activity from an early age and this programme is a fantastic first step.”
“We can come up with new ideas and activities, but what we want is for parents to come forward and tell us what they would like to see and what their children want to do, after all it is for their benefit.”
Any parent or guardian who has any ideas for new sessions should contact 01246 242364.
