NEARLY 2,000 people got into the spirit of the season and enjoyed Gainsborough Methodist Church’s Christmas Tree Festival and Christmas Bazaar.
The popular festive event raised over £400 for Home Start, as local families and schools flocked to enjoy the activities, refreshments, and of course, the Christmas trees. “It went really well, said Mike Childs.
“There was plenty going on and everyone enjoyed looking at the trees and indulging in mince pies.”
He added: “It was a great way to get everyone in the mood for Christmas and raise money for such a good cause too.”
