Several high profile speakers are set to appear at the first ever BExpo event of its kind in Bassetlaw next month.
Retford Town Hall will be transformed into a one stop business shop for businesses on 14th May.
The BExpo will see more than 60 businesses showcasing their talents, a dedicated food hall and a large networking meeting.
Speaking will be Michelle Downey, head of ‘The Best of’, social media consultant Jessica Zeun, expert in communication and interpersonal skills, Keith Warren and award winning celebrity chef Rachel Green.
Michelle will be demonstrating how business owners can have fun and make more profit at the same time by making sure their business stands out and makes a positive impact within their industry.
Jessica will be unraveling the jargon of social media and digital marketing, explaining the latest social media trends, and how successful brands have used social media to increase their market share and raise brand awareness, while Keith will be showing businesses how to get results when they speak and how to make a positive impact.
Rachel will be giving cookery demonstrations and speak about using fresh local produce.
“We set out with a goal to raise awareness of the many fantastic businesses that are within our region, and to profile their areas of expertise as well as bringing businesses together,” said Claire Weingaertner, a BExpo organiser and owner of Focus Accounting.
“Being in business myself within Bassetlaw, I was becoming continually frustrated as to why businesses were not working together as well as they could be within the region, so we decided to do something about it and look at holding an event to demonstrate what professional talent Bassetlaw can offer to the business market.”
