Candidates hope to win over the business community vote
Candidates hope to win over the business community vote

Politicians will set out how their parties aim to support businesses in Nottinghamshire at a special debate arranged by The East Midlands Chamber (EMC)

It takes place at Mansfield Manor Hotel on Tuesday, April 28th from 8am to 9.30am.

Each political party will briefly outline their vision and priorities for the next Government’s term of office, as well as their commitment towards the business community and reducing the national deficit. An interactive debate will then follow in which the Panel will engage with the audience. This is an area-based event, rather than focusing on any specific seat.

This particular session focuses specifically on the needs and expectations of organisations based in the Mansfield, Newark and Bassetlaw areas; with representatives being fielded by the Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat, and Green Parties as follows:-

David Prescott icon (Labour Party candidate, Gainsborough)

Leon Duveen icon (Liberal Democrats candidate, Bassetlaw)

Kat Boettge icon (Green Party, Nottingham North candidate).

The event is open to members of the business community in the county.
