Local people and organisations are being urged by Notts County Council to enter the 2014 Civic Trust Awards.
The Civic Trust Awards celebrate the best in architecture, urban design, planning, landscape, public realm and public art projects.
The Fox Road Stand at Trent Bridge and Mansfield’s Westfield Folkhouse have been amongst the Notts projects to receive the accolade in recent years.
The council is now looking for entries for 2014.
Since 1959, the awards have recognised over 6,500 projects worldwide.
David Littlewood, historic buildings conservation officer at Notts County Council, said: “Notts has a wealth of striking architecture, historic places and innovative buildings.”
“The Civic Trust Award scheme has a long history of recognising the best, including new architecture, restoration work, infrastructure and townscape.”
“The awards can raise the profile of a building, increase visitors, and encourage more innovative and inspiring design.”
Winning schemes will be announced in March.
