Women are being urged to grab their last chance to enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at Clumber Park.

Registration closes on Thursday 19th June for the fun run which is on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June.

There are just 1,000 places left to join a formidable army of 5,900 women who have already signed up.

Mums, daughters, grannies, sisters, friends and workmates who want to take part in the 5k and 10k women-only event are urged to sign up at or call 0845 600 6050.

Women of all shapes, sizes, ages and levels of fitness take part in Race for Life. They come from different backgrounds and walks of life but they are united by their absolute determination to take on the disease and beat it by funding life-saving research.

Sarah Threadgall, event manager for Race for Life at Clumber Park, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many women have entered Race for Life in Worksop.”

“But we still have places left so we are urging women to sign up as soon as possible.”

In 2013, more than 7,000 women took part in Race for Life at Clumber Park and helped raise an incredible £411,000.
