A1 Housing tenants will now have the servicing and repair work of their gas heating and appliances carried out by Sure Group thanks to a new contract.
The company has been selected to carry out the annual gas safety checks, maintenance, servicing and repairs to the 5,900 A1 Housing properties which have gas central heating or gas appliances.
The contract, which began on Tuesday, September 1 is due to run for the next four years.
Don Spittlehouse, managing director at A1 Housing, said: “Their record of fantastic customer service, high standards of servicing and repairs in addition to their exceptional gas safety standards mean we are confident that A1 Housing tenants will receive the best possible service when it comes to their gas heating systems and appliances.”
The contract will see Sure Group’s award-winning engineers carry out high quality servicing, repair and maintenance works to gas central heating systems. They will also provide safety checks on all other fitted gas appliances, smoke alarms, magnaclean system filters, while providing emergency provisions and CO testing.
