A man has been arrested after a woman was found seriously injured in Retford.
Paramedics were called to Strawberry Road, Thrumpton, where a 40-year-old woman was found seriously hurt.
She was rushed to hospital where she tonight, Sunday, July 10, remained in a critical condition.
Nottinghamshire Police have tonight appealed to the public for information about the incident following the call on the evening of Friday, July 8.
A force spokesman said: “The cause of her injuries is not yet known, but a 30 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
“He remains in custody.
“If anyone has any information about this incident or the cause of the woman’s injuries they should call 101, quoting incident number 876 of July 7.
