DON’T be stepping on the blue suede shoes of one UK Elvis act tribute when he rocks into Carlton for a nostalgia-filled night next month.

We have teamed up with show organisers to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to see top tribute act Michael Pass at Carlton Centre and Village Hall on Saturday 2nd July.

Michael is considered as one of the very best Elvis tribute acts and renowned for not only sounding like the King himself but having an incredibly powerful voice and range to match.

Critics have praised his “charismatic” and “energetic” performances which have wowed crowds and TV audiences alike.

His show encompasses elements of Elvis’s 1950’s Rock & Roll years, songs from The Movie Soundtracks, the 1968 Comeback Special & finally The Early Elvis 70’s Concert Years.

He sent audiences wild in the aisles when he performed at Carlton last year, and next month’s show promises to be no different.

Carlton Village Hall spokesman Coun Barry Bowles said Michael had the audience eating out of his hand.

“He played the tables and didn’t confine himself to the stage. He sang directly to ladies, looking straight into their eyes - they loved it!” he said.

The men, from early twenties to us old chaps, were also entertained and in the gents the comments were more than favourable.”

He added: “At the end of the evening we and he were mobbed. He spent over half an hour signing autographs. Two groups arranged to see him at other venues, including while they were on holiday in Cyprus!”

While he, and we, were surrounded there was the demand that we book him again. So we did, there and then and for the nearest date to Independence Day as we could.”
