Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow makes a hotly-anticipated return to the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield next month as the star of Jekyll and Hyde - and we have tickets to be won!

We have a pair of tickets to give away for the first night performance of the hit Broadway musical on Monday 18th April at 7.45pm.

Billed as glamorous, sexy and deliciously wicked in equal measures, this production of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson gothic novella is written by Frank Wildhorn.

Pellow stars as the brilliant but obsessive scientist whose sadistic alter ego wreaks havoc across Victorian London in a dark tale of love, redemption and the seductive power of evil.

The lyrics have been written by Academy Award-winning composer Leslie Bricusse whose previous successes include Stop The World I Want To Get Off, Scrooge, Doctor Dolittle, Victor/Victoria and Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory.

Jekyll and Hyde features the hit song This Is The Moment. The Broadway production of the musical ran for over 1,500 performances between 1997 and 2001.

Now embarking on a major UK tour, Jekyll and Hyde is sure to take Sheffield by storm.

Pellow made his name when he formed the band Wet Wet Wet with his school friends. They went on to become one of the most successful and highly acclaimed bands in British pop history.

The band enjoyed consistent chart-topping multi-platinum albums and have been nominated for and won major industry awards, including the Ivor Novellos and The Brits.

Their 1994 single Love Is All Around was on the soundtrack to the blockbuster Brit flick Four Weddings And A Funeral and continues to be one of the top five highest selling singles and most played songs of all time in the UK.

As well as a critically-acclaimed solo career, Pellow has gone on to star in the West End, Broadway and has been on national tours in smash-hit stage musicals like The Witches Of Eastwick, which came to the Lyceum.

Jekyll and Hyde runs from 18th April to 30th April. Tickets priced £22-£34 are available from the box office on 0114 249 6000 or go to
