In the crazy world of classic car prices £40,000 for a VW Splitscreen van doesn’t seem that surprising.

I mean this one has a fridge, a TV, a sofa and a bed and is finished in a delightful white-over-powder-blue paint scheme.

According to Cuckooland.com, which is selling the “exclusive” replica, the price reflects the “off the charts” workmanship that’s gone into producing it.

Beneath the fibreglass and chrome bodywork is an interior crafted from Palisander wood veneer and kitted out with a bed, desk, sofa, mini fridge and TV, along with plenty of storage for all the kid’s belongings.
