Eighties chart star Howard Jones is coming to Sheffield City Hall in the new year.

An Evening With Howard Jones Solo (The Songs, The Piano & The Stories) comes to the venue on February 14.

Howard Jones first burst on to the scene in 1983 when his debut single New Song reached number three in the charts.

A host of hits followed, including Things Can Only Get Better, What is Love?, Pearl In The Shell, Like to Get to Know You Well, Hide And Seek, Look Mama and No One Is To Blame

His first three albums, Humans Lib, Dream into Action and One To One all made the UK top 10.

On his new solo show Howard shares the inspirations tells stories from 30 years in the music business.

Support comes from Elise Yuill, a singer-songwriter fast establishing herself in the contemporary folk scene.
