If it’s a feel good show full of well known hits, then Thriller Live is the show for you.
With mesmerizing dance routines and Michael Jackson’s hit repertoire as a back drop, it is a show for all age group.
People young and old packed into Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre on Monday for the opening night - and they weren’t left disappointed.
Lead vocalist Cleopatra Higgins wowed the audience with her powerful voice, that more than coped with hit after hit of MJ tunes.
She was accompanied on stage her leading men Sean Christopher, Lascel Wood, Jesse Smith and Tyrone Lee.
The first half of the show featured hits such as She’s Out Of My Life and I’ll Be There.
But it was the second half that really impressed me.
The slower songs were replaced by up temp moon walking, and hits such as Billie Jean and Dirty Diana, which soon saw the audience up on its feet.
For me the stars of the show were the dancers. Song after song they were simply brilliant.
The highlight was the performance of the show’s title song Thriller. The whole cast took part in the famous routine, which saw dancers dressed as ghouls appear from around the audience.
The show runs until Saturday.
