CLUMBER park looks set to be rocked by a series of top concerts this summer - and we’re giving YOU the chance to WIN tickets.

From Friday 17th - Sunday 19th August, Clumber Park in Worksop will host three great concerts.

On Saturday 18th August, lovers of classic pop are in for a treat as the Flashback Festival will take music-lovers back in time to the glorious 1980s with sets from OMD, Marc Almond, ABC, Belinda Carlisle, Go West and The Christians, while finishing off the proceedings will be classical music star Alfie Boe with his orchestra, supported by Laura Wright.

Kicking off the concert run will be the Rockin’ The Park festival - when Brit Floyd, Focus, Curved Air, The Strawbs and more will take Clumber by storm.

Organisers UK Events are launching a day of classic rock, bringing together some of the best music from the 1970s.

Brit Floyd are the premiere Pink Floyd tribute in the UK and having performed to over 50,000 fans in the UK during 2011

They will be performing their brand new show A Foot In The Door which includes all of Pink Floyd’s best work.

What’s more, a FREE Brit Floyd two-hour live performance DVD will be given to everybody purchasing a ticket to this inaugural gig of what the organisers hope will become an annual event and a firm favourite of rock fans everywhere.

For rock legends Hawkwind, 2009 saw them celebrating 40 years in the business.

During this time the have played at festivals up and down the country. They are widely acknowledged as creating a new genre of music – space rock, which lead to their massive hit single Silver Machine.

Focus are a Dutch rock band which was founded by classically trained organist and flautist Thijs van Leer in 1969, and is most famous for the instrumental pieces Hocus Pocus and Sylvia.

Curved Air are a pioneering British progressive rock group formed in 1970 by musicians from mixed artistic backgrounds, including classic, folk, and electronic sound.
